Eligibilty Criteria

Admission to M.A. (Economics), candidates having B.A./ B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects, or at 10+2 level; or those with B.B.A./ B.Com./ B.C.A. degree, are also eligible.

Ph.D.

About Programme

It is a research programme culminating in a doctoral degree for M.A. and M.Phil. students. The main trust areas of department, with an orientation in quantitative techniques, are Economics of Industry, Agricultural Economics, Public Finance, International Economics, Finance and Trade, and Indian Economic Problems and Policies.
