The Department of Statistics of N.A.S. College Meerut is a prestigious academic unit of the N.A.S. College. It offers undergraduate courses in Statistics since 1959. The department was established with core values that include integrity, character building, alumni interaction, and excellence.
The Vision of the Department of Statistics at N.A.S. College, Meerut, is to be recognized as a premier destination for statistical expertise and to make significant contributions to the career and character building of the students.
The Mission of the Department of Statistics at N.A.S. College, Meerut, is to provide students with a strong foundation in statistical theory and methods and to prepare them for successful careers in academia, industry, and government. The department is committed to providing high-quality teaching, conducting different training programs, and engaging students in other academic and personality development activities.  
The department offers a B.Sc. in Statistics in these two combinations with other subjects.

The department also organizes regular Statistical Quizzes, General Knowledge Quizzes, Training programs, Personality Development Activities and Guest Lectures to enhance student's skills and knowledge.

Statistics is also an excellent career option, with lots of job opportunities available in various fields such as finance, analytics, software development, actuarial science, and many more. With a degree in statistics, you can work in various industries such as agriculture, computer science, health science, census, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, etc. You can also apply for the Civil Services, Indian Statistical Services, and Indian Economic Services exams.
